It’s almost that time of year again! When we can all eat ice cream without having to face judgment from pretty much everyone around us. I live in Portland, so Salt & Straw is basically a must for spring and summer- that is, if you can bear the line that stretches all the way around the building. Although I prefer their cinnamon snickerdoodle and caramel pecan apple pie (I have a thing for sugar), their strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper and pear & blue cheese have been known to be exceptional as well. I don’t know how they do it, but those flavors really work.
